Request tracing

Follow one request across its boundaries. RezaWorks keeps middleware, response behavior and tracing details close enough to examine together.

01

Review before applying

Compare actual behavior with the expected result. If a check fails, investigate it before applying more changes.

02

Connection

Base URL, credentials and a reachable server.

03

Project

Validate incoming identifiers and ensure nested calls keep the same tracing context.

Give a cross-service bug a traceable starting point

RezaWorks is Windows coding software for investigating behavior that crosses application boundaries. Bring the relevant source folder into a conversation and describe where an observed request stops matching expectations. Ask the connected model to identify the middleware and response code involved before requesting changes to the path.

For example, a request ID may need to survive validation, enter the application context and return in a response header. Use that existing project scenario to discuss one coherent change. Specify what happens when an incoming ID is missing or invalid, and inspect whether downstream code receives the same accepted value.

That discussion becomes useful when it produces an edit you can evaluate against the request contract. Review each affected layer, then run your application with representative requests and inspect the resulting headers and logs. Request tracing is work on your software here, not a hosted tracing service supplied by RezaWorks.

Connect your chosen model using a supported OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic endpoint and credentials where needed. Uncensored AI describes an optional model choice, with behavior and restrictions determined by its provider. Server support also determines available tools and context, so establish what can be inspected before relying on an explanation of the full request path.

Request-context decisions worth making explicit

Where should a request ID be established?

Ask the model to inspect the earliest relevant middleware and the existing context convention. Choose one point that validates or creates the ID, then examine its consumers. Multiple independent assignments can make apparently related log lines difficult to compare.

Should a client-supplied ID always be echoed?

Define the accepted format and rejection or replacement behavior first. Review the validation and response assignment together. The example does not establish a universal trust policy for incoming headers; that policy belongs to your application and its deployment context.

How can I check propagation across an error response?

Include a request that fails after context creation and inspect the response path as well as the ordinary success path. Check the expected identifier in the output you actually use. A successful middleware unit test may not cover error handling.

Can RezaWorks collect production traces automatically?

No trace-collection capability is established by this workflow. Bring appropriate source and sanitized observations into the coding conversation. Use your existing runtime and observability setup to generate evidence, then review proposed source changes against that evidence before applying them.
